About The Business
House Mouse Hobbies started as an outlet for my art and handmade items, such as wire wraps and wall hangings. It has gradually grown into my very own small business. I am constantly expanding my interests in different forms of arts and crafts. Therefore, I have a growing variety of products. For the foreseeable future, House Mouse Hobbies will remain a one woman show. Currently, the products I have available for the public are stones, handmade jewelry, a growing selection of home decor (wall hangings, paintings, etc.) and a small variety of clothing, including crotchet and knit apparel. As a growing artist, I am constantly improving every aspect of my handmade items. It is extremely important to me that all of my customers remain satisfied and ecstatic about their purchases. There are many stages of experience when it comes to handmade goods and art, which means quality is always improving. Which is why, I offer repair services for items that get damaged later in life. The Overall Plan
I'm still in the early stages of my plans for House Mouse Hobbies. The first step is to grow this business to the point of turning a profit, which is what I'm currently working on. At that point I would like to start donating a small percentage of profits to different organizations that are taking direct action to help others (human, animals, planet and all). When the time comes that I can start taking in animals, I want this business to directly contribute to the care of those animals. That has been my plan from the very beginning. As I progress in my art, I will be making hyper lapse videos of art projects on Youtube and eventually tutorials. So that you can make your own House Mouse inspired projects. I understand that not every one has the money to spoil themselves with handmade items and I want you all to be able to enjoy what I do.
About Me
My name is Summer Wind Otis and I am 25 years old. I've enjoyed arts and crafts my entire life. I am vegan and chose to be because I truly believe that you should treat others how you want to be treated. I do not use animal products in any of the items that I make. I own 2 businesses, this one and Days-Ease Natural House Cleaning. My biggest goal in life is to open an animal sanctuary. It has been my main target since I was 17 and decided I would no longer eat animals. I just want to give animals a safe place to live out their lives in peace. I plan to use both of my businesses to do so. I already have some animal companions that have helped me make my way to where I am and I love them dearly.
